Rickerick and Susie came to our house on May 26, 2009. I was so excited to see them and have them come to my home. We went to eat at Ruby Tuesday’s and then went to my house and swam in the pool and had some drinks. I also sent them home with some Century plants for
their yard. They stayed at the
Microtel in
Kingsland for the night because Susie had to take her shot.
The next morning I was going to go tell them goodbye before they left for
Daytona, but decided to pack my swimsuit and go with them for the day. When we got there they had a reservation at the La Quinta Inn. Rick upgraded the room to an Ocean View on the 1st floor! We could see and walk out on the beach from the room. We went and ate at
Quizno’s and I had the turkey, bacon guacamole sandwich. Yum. We went back to the room and went swimming in the Ocean and lay in the sun. It was great, like a little mini vacation for me:-). We then went and showered and went to eat at the Oyster Pub. Rick had the dozen raw oysters on a half shell, Susie and I both had the grilled
Mahi Mahi and fried Calamari for an appetizer. Susie and I had three Lemon Drops together too and Rick had beer. I then decided I was staying the night with them after that. We went back to the room and made more drinks and we all went walking down the beach before it got dark. Rick showed me the
slide show of
their trip to the
British Virgin Islands. I know exactly were
Weeyum and I will be going next! I haven’t seen them or spent time with them in so long. I truly enjoyed our time together. I wanted more pictures but
of course my battery went dead in my camera. Susie has some more that I am sure she will love to show!
This morning I got up and came home and they went to visit the
Daytona Race track and then headed to their next destination…
Of course my poor
Weeyum had to work because we will be on our way to Texas in about 2 weeks!
