5th Year Anniversary

William and I are celebrating our 5th year of marriage today. We began our day by waking Zach for school and eating breakfast together. We dropped Zach off at school and then went to the Crooked River State Park. We walked on the Nature Trail. It was still foggy when we got there, but we enjoyed our walk together. We saw neat spider webs, animal tracks, wild flowers, a wild pig and about 5 deer ran across but I was not fast enough to get them on camera...
Our early big gift was our new couch and oversized chair! William took me to Red Lobster for lunch and it was wonderful. I had the Seafood Shrimp Platter and he had the Tilapia fresh catch of the day and crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. We went back home and I tanned in the pool until we went to pick up Zach from school. When Zach got in the car he said he told his teacher that we were married for 5 years today :-) I told Zach that in a way it is also our anniversary too because that is when I officially became his step mom :-)
The years of marriage may get rough and bumpy at times, but when you truly love each other you realize all that really matters is what you feel for each other, not were you live or what other people think. It is very easy to let family, friends, and life's little surprises interfere with your marriage, but William and I intend on going strong and toughing out anything life throws at us. I love you My Weeyum.

Photo Shoot with my New Nikon Coolpix!

I was so excited to get my new cherry red Nikon Coolpics camera for Mother's Day! I took the puppies outside and did a photo shoot. They were so cute. I love my puppies, Rocko, Albert and Simon(see-moan). Rocko(poop-are) is the mixed breed, Albert has the cropped ears and is father to Simon. Simon is the baby in the family. He is very "unique" you could say... Albert does not really care for the camera :-)
