Have you ever seen a child play the DS and blow out candles at the same time? Seriously. We enjoyed Zachary's birthday on Wednesday night. I met William and Zachary at Olive Garden after work. We suprised Zach with an $80 Walmart gift card inside one of those loud cards. When he opened it it sang "Owww, I feel good, da na da na na, and I know that I should..." He was a little embarrased in the restaurant, but I thought it was funny. Then Zach and I went to Walmart so he could spend some of his money. Then we met Daddy back at home and Zach had other gifts to open! We then had cake and ice cream. I still can't believe how old and big Zach is now :-( He was 1.5 years when I met him and now he is already 9 years! What a good, sweet boy and I love him so much.
I have been working and enjoying my new job at NAS Jacksonville. The hours are good and so is the pay. I thought, at first, that the drive would be extremely hard on me, but it really isn't bad. It is amazing how I went from having no job and no prospects to having 3 job offers and had to pick one! God is great isn't he! I have waited for 5 years to finally get offered a job on base and it has finally happened for me. I can only move up from here :-)
William is really retired now! I think he is enjoying it so far...
I have lost 6.4 pounds and hope to lose more. I get up at 4am each morning and get on the treadmill prior to work and count my calories each day and so far it is working!
So, not a whole lot going on here except work and sleep and a little play :-) Love Ang
