Our middle furboy Albert was resting in the living room with us last night and out of nowhere began to shake and flop all over the place! His eyes began to roll back and he was tight all over. I ofcourse FREAKED out, but William was very calm with him and rubbed and talked to him until it was over. William said at one point he thought he was gone. I was on the phone with the Vet while it was happening. He said to keep an eye on him for the night and if it happens again we would need to take him to the Animal ER... It lasted for about 20 minutes, but he came out of it and has not done it again thank God. The Vet said epileptic seizures in dogs are actually very common :-o I did not know this. I don't know what we would do if we lost him :-( His son Si'mon was crying out loud and real tears were running out of his eyes while William watched over Albert. I can not imagine the two of them separated from eachother.

Christmas Eve
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve! I continue to remind Zach that the star on the tree represents the star the 3 kings followed, and that we give gifts to represent the gifts they gave to celebrate the birth of Jesus. I tell him that we should be happy for our health, and family that we have around us too...
BUT WE SURE DO LOVE THE GIFTS!
We loved all of our gifts and wish we were with our families to enjoy them with.
Forgive my looks tonight please :-)

Christmas Lights
SORRY NO PICTURES.
Last night after I got home and we ate dinner from Sonic, Zach and I made our hot chocolate and turned on our Christmas toons and went to see the beautiful lights!
First we drove downtown in Saint Marys and looked at how beautiful the lights are on all the old trees and B & B's. They also had the big tree lit up on the waterfront. The house on the marsh had the huge Nativity seen set out like always... then we went on to another neighborhood that, each year, every single house around the way lights up and they have lighted arches over the road all the way around. One home even has music playing. Very pretty.
We went home afterwards and opened a gift while Daddy sat and watched! :-o yes, we were bad... I loved my gift from Kassie. I have never used the oil stick things before, but the oil sure smells good. Zachary opened 2 gifts from the St. Louis gang. He loved his new Kirkwood cup and he opened a beautiful 3D Chirstmas book. I got to have three bedtime stories read to me in bed before I went to sleep :-)He read "The Christmas Tree", the "Veggies Tales Ice Cube Contest", and "The 12 Days of Christmas" all books from Missouri. We talked a little about Grandma and Papa coming on Sunday and how he wishes he can be with them while they are here. :-( Sweet, sweet little boy.
Happy Christmas Eve and we will miss you all tonight..

The Night Before Christmas
'Twas the night before Christmas', when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there...

Re-arranging pictures and such :-)
This weekend we re-arraged our living room so we can actually use all of the new furniture we bought back in May... I love it. We moved our TV and everything to the opposite wall and if you could see it in person it makes our living area look so much bigger.
This morning we all played Stars Wars Battleship, Daddy remains undefeated! Just sitting and enjoying the new cozyness if being able to sit all together and enjoy movies and stuff together now.
I am ready to open packages already, the presents are calling me!

Ready for Christmas
We have finished our tree today by putting our icicles and candy canes on the tree :-) We have had Zachary with us for weeks at a time now and get to enjoy him with us here at home. He loves our little princess Rikki. She falls asleep in his arms all the time lately. So sweet...

State Park
We went to the State Park yesterday and Zach watched the Nature presentation while Rocko and I waited outside. The man let us in, but Rocko wanted to cry to everyone... Then we walked the trails :-)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
We will miss you all so much, but I hope ya'll have a great Thanksgiving. Usually, William and I make a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green bean casserole, candied yams etc... This year we are going to eat our dinner at Cracker Barrel. This will be the 1st time EVER in 33 years, that I have spent my Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant. BLASPHEMY! lol It looks very inviting on the website and you can't beat the price. We do not have Zach this year and William had to work early this morning, so we are having a simple dinner together.

Beachhouse!
I have to brag... We went and spent the weekend at a freind of William's beachhouse last weekend. It was absolutely beautfiul. The house is across the street from the beach in Fernandina Beach, FL. I sure wish I had about $400,000 to buy it from them. Can we all go in on it and use it as our "family" vacation house? Anybody? It was very relaxing and hopefully we get to go again.
Zachary and I got up early in the morning and went down to the beach. The sun was so pretty coming up over the ocean. We had the beach to ourselves. I love the sounds and the feel of sand on my feet and looking for shells... I love watching Zach play the most. The ocean was a bit nippy, but the tide pools were warm so he swam and played in them. We dug in the sand and made a huge shark and ofcourse we fond some shells to take home. I wish I could look out on the ocean every morning.
Soccer season is over
Soccer season is over. They ended up being 5 - 4 at the end. Zach wants to play Spring soccer too! I am so happy he has found a sport he really likes :-) He got a cute trophy and we bought them all hotdogs, soda, and goodie bags for all the team.

My new job!
Well, it has finally happened! I got a job on NAS Jax with a government contractor. I have been waiting for years to get a job on base. The funny thing is that we support the P-3's that I would have been stationed at in 2004 before I got out. Hmmmm, maybe I should've stayed in? Not to mention the 5 years I would be closer to retirement by now.... Oh well, shoulda coulda woulda.
ANYWAY! I feel like I am home again and feel so comfortable in this job. I am a Stock Clerk. Good pay and the people are so nice. This ones a keeper :-)
Until later,
Ang

Weekend in Orlando, FL
When we got to Orlando on Friday afternoon, we ended up in heavy traffic. We were downtown on the highway when the car began to get hot, then we got a call from the school saying that some lady was trying to pick up Zachary from school when it was supposed to be his Mom picking him up, and then my mom called my cell phone to see where we were. I told her about the car getting hot and Zachary being picked up by a stranger and the traffic and that there must be a bad wreck. She said it wasn't a wreck it was a psycho man shooting everyone in an office building! Shortly after that we saw the alert on the board on the Hwy! Well, needless to say, we could not get off the highway because the exits were all blocked, we still had not heard from Zach's Mom, and then we passed by the building were the negotiation trucks, ambulances, and police were outside the building!! WILD! Anyway, Zach's Mom called and was at the airport on the way home, thank goodness, the traffic began to move again, and the car made it to the resort :-) Strange situation all in a matter of seconds and strangely enough we remained very calm... It was all crazy and then fine in a matter of minutes :-0 Anyway, we did have a great weekend! We went to dinner, hung out in the hot tub, had some drinks. Mom and I went shopping at the outlet malls. We all went to Epcot on Sunday. It was the last day of the Food and Wine Festival. We tasted something at almost every country! I am still stuffed. What a fun get away. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great time. We love you.
The view outside our room...
I'm ready to go shopping :-)
Ahhh, relaxation :-)
Dad needs more coffee...
Playing Mafia Wars!
Looking down from Mom and Dads Penthouse.
Another view.
